The Midfield Taxiway Project is one of the first Airport Expansion and Development Program projects. It is a critical project in that it is an enabling project for the future Concourse B and follow-on Airport Expansion and Development Program projects. A soil stockpile lies within the alignment of the new midfield taxiways and needs to be moved. The pile originates from previous onsite construction activities and will be relocated onsite. AUS requests authorization to contract with a company experienced in soil site preparation and transport. This work will meet all regulatory requirements and operational needs.
