Purchasing Language: The Financial Services Department issued a Request for Qualifications Statements solicitation RFQS 8100 DJJ4000 for these services. The solicitation was issued on January 15, 2024, and closed on February 20, 2024. Of the four offers received, the recommended contractor submitted the best evaluated responsive offer. MBE/WBE: This solicitation was reviewed for subcontracting opportunities in accordance with City Code Chapter 2-9B (Minority-Owned and Women-Owned Business Enterprise Procurement Program). For the services required for this solicitation, there were no subcontracting opportunities; therefore, no subcontracting goals were established. However, the recommended contractor identified subcontracting opportunities. Additional Backup Information: The contract will provide the Airport with an Information Technology (IT) Master Plan. This plan will guide the Airport in planning, procuring, implementing, and managing both current and future technology investments and resources. The previous Airport IT Master Plan completed in 2014 has successfully guided the implementation of technology-related projects in alignment with organizational goals and objectives. The new plan will provide similarly actionable projects, informing both minor and major IT initiatives for the next five to 10 years. As the Airport undergoes significant growth and construction that will introduce a need for new IT systems and technologies, the IT Master Plan will offer crucial insights into how these new systems may impact Airport IT staffing, operations, and budget. An evaluation team with expertise in this area evaluated the offers and scored Faith Group, LLC as the best to provide these services based on company and personnel qualifications and experience, overall project management structure and approach organizational structure, and sample work products. Without an updated IT Master Plan, the Airport risks security vulnerabilities, operational disruptions, and missed opportunities for utilizing emerging technologies. Additionally, the Airport could face resource misalignment, non-compliance issues, delayed projects, and increased costs due to unplanned investments. The proposed contract is essential to ensure the Airport's technological infrastructure remains robust, secure, and aligned with both current and future demands.
